It may be a bit early, but from this week forward I will be giving my prediction on where each Big Ten team will be going for the Holidays. At this time, I think only one team will make the BCS (no at-large bids, like last year). So, without further adieu, here is Edition #1 of the Bowl Predictions:
BCS/Fiesta Bowl (#1) Jan. 2, Tempe, 3:30 p.m.: Penn State vs. BCS (Notre Dame?)
Capital One (#2), Jan. 2, Orlando, 12:00 p.m.: Wisconsin vs. SEC #2
Outback (#3) Jan. 2, Tampa, 10:00 a.m.: Ohio State vs. SEC-East #3
Alamo (#4) Dec. 28, San Antonio, 7:00 p.m.: Northwestern vs. Big 12 #4
Sun (#5) Dec. 30, El Paso, 11:00 a.m.: Minnesota vs. Pac 10 #3
Music City (#6) Dec. 30, Nashville, 11:00 a.m.: Michigan vs. SEC #6
Motor City (#7) Dec. 26, Detroit, 4:30 p.m.: iowa! vs. MAC #1 or #2
Liberty (At-large), Dec. 31, Memphis, 12:00 p.m.: Michigan State vs. C-USA #1
NOTES: The Liberty has one slot available for an at-large team. They would love to take a Big 10 team, if enough qualify. The Poinsettia Bowl in San Diego on Dec. 22 also has an at-large slot. If Notre Dame loses another game, then another BCS slot will open. (All times listed are CST.)
